THILAGAM PANASAMY

Co-Managing Partner

Meet Thilagam, our legal powerhouse and all-around amazing human being, having earned her LLB degree from the esteemed University of Malaya and interned at the Attorney General's Chambers - she also completed her pupillage under the expert guidance of her master Datuk Dr. Baljit Singh Sidhu, further solidifying her knowledge and expertise in the field.

And, she's not one to rest on her laurels - Thilagam is currently continuing her education with a Master of Commercial Law at the University of Malaysia, always striving to learn more and better serve her clients. With her powers of empathy and her trusty legal expertise, she is always ready to take on the toughest of cases and turn them into victories for our clients.

Whether you are dealing with a contract dispute or a family matter, Thilagam has the skills and experience to guide you through the legal process and help you come out on top. She is also no stranger to the courtroom, having acted as counsel in lower courts, the High Court, and the Court of Appeal.

When she is not busy saving the day in the courtroom, you can catch her spreading positivity and good vibes to everyone around her. So, if you're in need of a little legal magic, Thilagam is your go-to lawyer.

Oh, and did we mention that she is also multilingual? Thilagam speaks English, Malay, and Tamil (and is working on adding Telugu and Hindi to her repertoire).

LEE HONG SHI

Co-Managing Partner

LEE HONG SHI, a graduate from University of Malaya, had her internships at the Attorney General’s Chambers of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.

She was admitted as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2017 upon completion of her pupillage which was immersed in civil litigation. She was the right arm of her master in appellate matters involving corporate disputes.

Immediately after her pupillage, she was offered to join the Judicial and Legal Service with her first posting as Senior Assistant Registrar at Palace of Justice, Putrajaya. In the Department of Policy and Legislation, she was actively involved in the drafting of memorandum, policies, practice directions, regulations, etc. She was also appointed as committee for several projects, for example the Review of Court’s Circulars and Practice Directions.

She was then transferred to the Unit of Bankruptcy in the High Court of Malaya (Kuala Lumpur) where she was assigned to handle all the bankruptcy and post-bankruptcy proceedings.

Hong Shi was also an ex-officio First Class Magistrate who was assigned to hear and decide on remand applications made by investigation officers (police officers) to detain criminals more than 24 hours.

Bringing with her the experience in the Judiciary, she stepped out to practise as a lawyer. She opted to devote her passion in civil litigation and this time, she extends her horizon to contractual disputes, family disputes, wills and probate, landlord and tenancy matters, etc.
